Certificate in Climate Risk from the Chartered Body Alliance
Central banks and financial regulators consider the identification, measurement and disclosure of climate-related risks to be a priority in support of the the transition to a low-carbon world.

Chartered Banker Institute, part of the UK Chartered Body Alliance, in promoting the Climate Risk Certificate, a
global qualification from the
Chartered Banker Institute. This global qualification will help individuals to develop their professional knowledge, understanding and
skills relating to climate change, climate risk and sustainable finance, with a
view to supporting customers, clients, colleagues, and communities in transitioning energy production and use to meet international and national targets for carbon neutrality.
Fast and affordable recognition for candidates - the certificate can be attained
using online resources at your own pace (130 hours of study time required).
Final assessment is carried out via a 1.5 hour, 75 question multiple choice examination, delivered online via remote invigilation. Test results are notified as soon as the exam is completed.
Upon completion, successful candidates will be entitled to use the
designation
CRP (Certified Climate Risk Professional).

Module Specification.
There are no formal entry requirements but an understanding of risk management principles and financial services practices is necessary. The programme is taught and examined in English.
The Certificate costs £595 (GBP) per candidate, including all learning
materials, the first sitting of the examination and one year's membership of
the Chartered Banker Institute.
